11/23/12 Flew HOME Rocky meets Hunter and Sommer

11/21/12 Got our exit letter

11/16/12 met Rocky for the 1st time

11/13/12 Flew to Congo

10/25/12 Reservations at St. Annes

10/24/12 Booked Airline Tickets

10/20/12 I600 Approval

9/29/12 Got Rocky's Passport today

9/3/12 Got Rocky's Birth Cert
8/3/12 CONA is final he is offically ours in the congo
7/3/12 Judgement day Yipee. Not sure what it all means but we know it is a step closer to bringing our baby home.
6/20/12 Found a translator for our docs. Doing some scrambling around to scan files and send to her. SHe is wonderful. Next step is mail things to the COngo.
6/17/12 Got my dossier today. Dan will stay home from work tomorrow and work on finding a translator. This is very overwhelming for me
6/13/12 waiting on my dossier from OWAS. They have not translated it yet. Now I have to pay a translator to translate all of our documents
6/13/12 Sent $9,000 to the Congo. Sick to my stomach. I am wiring $9,000 to someone I don't even know. All I know is I have heard wonderful stories about her and great reviews. Well she got the money within 10 minutes. Gosh that is fast.
6/7/12 Cancelled our contract with our previous agency and signed with Vanessa today. Yippeeee travel should be in 4 months. I can't wait.
6/7/12 REFERRAL- He is so CUTE. Not the best name in the world Dodo (long o sound). He has no birthday so we have to give him a birthday. He looks so sad but his eyes are so big.
6/6/11 My new contact in the Congo is Vanessa. She has a 4 year old boy for us. She will send the info tomorrow I can't wait.
6/4/12 My contact in the Congo found someone that has a referral for me. She has to contact them and they will send the information
6/3/12 I emailed a contact in the Congo about information on a referral. Not happy with our agency currently.
5/19/12 Rummage sale we raised $1350 in sales and $162 in donations
4/27/12 We went to our biometrics in Milwaukee. How excting. Now we just keep waiting. I did hear that they have 12 little kiddos coming into the orphange soon and it looks like one of those 12 will be ours...Yipee
4/13/12 - We finally got our biometrics appt. April 27 is the big day. We go to Milwaukee then we close on our house in the later part of the afternoon.
3/17/12 - all of our dossier paperwork is in except for 171h (whatever that means but I am sure I will find out). Our homsestudy is complete so we will start filling out grants
2/17/12 Sent in our 1600A form with $850
2/10/12 Got copies of our birth certificate and marriage license
2/10/12 Had our HIV and TB test today
2/6/12 Sent in payment $3400 waiting for referral
2/1/12 Started selling t-shirts
1/31/12 1st homestudy interview with Deb Reid (Speical Children)
1/27/12 Picked OWAS international agency sent in $250 app fee
1/23/12 - Filled out homestudy paperwork. Sent in $100 app fee
1/12 Researched agencies
